| BinaryTherapy.com is a fun project site developed by a couple friends, Sam and Rep (aka
Brandy and Brian). The domain name was secured by Sam because she liked the sound
of it but the site was left under construction for quite some time. It was suggested
between them that the site was built, but the two didn't know exactly what it
should be. Both of these characters had their own areas of expertise in web development
and between the two of them they taught each other new things and worked together
as a team to produce a website from the heart. BinaryTherapy has become a community site meant to keep friends in touch by providing fun links, news, photos, journals, chat, and an over zealous amount of bright orange and green. BT welcomes all friends of old and new to jump right in and be a part of the community with their own galleries, blogs, news/link submissions, and more. Contact us right here to request an account. [technical specs] The website was built using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, and Flash as the foundation. The content management system was coded entirely from scratch by both Sam and Rep. The Blog section is coded from scratch after many different pre-built blogs were tried and tested only to fail to meet expectations of a simple yet powerful journal system. The Gallery section is built using Gallery 1.4.4. Forums are powered by phpBB. |
